Pricing.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
My pricing is bespoke to reflect the specific needs of your project.
There are many factors that go into pricing a writing or editing project. Some of these include:
How long is the document that you want me to write or edit?
What level of editing do you need?
Will the writing process require interviews or research?
What format is your document?
Does your document contain tables, graphs, or references?
There are two ways I can price your project: hourly rate or fixed price. You can choose which one is best for you.
Hourly rate
The hourly pricing model is most suitable for editing and proofreading projects, particularly if we have not worked together before.
I charge 85 New Zealand/Australian dollars per hour, plus GST for New Zealand clients. For the first project you book with me, my minimum charge is two hours. Any projects after that have a minimum charge of one hour.
Please contact me if you would like me to quote my hourly rate in a different currency. GST will not be added if you are outside of New Zealand.
Fixed price
If you would like certainty about how much your project will cost, you can ask me to quote a fixed price. The fixed price model is most suitable for writing projects.
Please note that for editing or proofreading projects I cannot give you a fixed price for your project until I have seen the full document. If that’s not possible I can give you an estimate or a price range.
