HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

My pricing is bespoke to reflect the specific needs of your writing.

There are many factors that go into pricing a proofreading or copyediting project. Some of these include:

  • How long is your document?

  • What level of editing do you need?

  • What’s the quality of the writing?

  • What format is your document?

  • Does your document contain tables, graphs, or references?

There are two ways I can price your project: hourly rate or fixed price. You can choose which one is best for you.

Hourly rate

I charge 80 New Zealand dollars per hour, plus GST. For the first project you book with me, my minimum charge is three hours.

Please contact me if you would like me to quote my hourly rate in a different currency. GST will not be added if you are outside of New Zealand.

Fixed price

If you need certainty about how much your project will cost, you can ask me to quote a fixed price.

Please note that I cannot give you a fixed price for your project until I have seen the full document. If that’s not possible I can give you an estimated price, which may be subject to change.
