I am a professional, experienced editorial consultant who helps New Zealand businesses and organisations create better writing. I specialise in corporate documents such as reports, plans, policies, guidelines, strategies, proposals, applications, websites, and training materials. I also specialise in stationery such as planners, diaries, calendars, greeting cards, and more.
In the past year I have worked with clients in the energy, local government, stationery, education, sustainability, startup, health and aged care, digital technology, research, and arts sectors.

Kia ora, I’m Anne-Marie.
I am a former newspaper journalist and communications advisor turned freelance editorial consultant. I have seven years’ experience working with New Zealand businesses and organisations. I love supporting my clients to help them meet their goals.
I thrive on deadlines and can often turn projects around at short notice. I am available for one-off projects and long-term collaborations.
I have a postgraduate diploma in journalism from Massey University, and a diploma in proofreading and editing from the New Zealand Institute of Business Studies. I am a professional member of the Institute of Professional Editors and a member of the Plain Language Association International.
Giving back to the community.
In 2025, I am giving back to the community. For every client I work with, I will make a small donation to Pet Refuge. Pet Refuge is a New Zealand charity that temporarily cares for pets while their families escape domestic violence. Find out more about their incredible work here.
